Easter Raffle

The draw took place on Easter Saturday, 30th March, by Marjorie Hicks and was won by Rose Houston. Congratulations to Rose and thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket for this event that raised a very welcome surplus of £41.00 for the shop,

Opening Anniversary

On Thursday May 23 the shop will have been trading for a total of 15 years, initially from a second hand portacabin and for almost three years now, from our purpose built award winning premises.

As a small celebration of this milestone the shop will have some ‘drinks and nibbles’ available for our customers to enjoy. So please pop in and help us to celebrate this milestone, which we could not have achieved without the support of our community.

The Shop Committee plan to hold other events during the year, so please look out for the announcements

May Bank Holidays

Please note the following trading hours for the two Bank Holidays during May:

  Shop Post Office
Monday May 6th 10.00 to 12.00   Closed
Monday May 27th 10.00 to 12.00 Closed

It would really help the volunteers if you would order your requirements for bread and pastries ahead of the Bank Holiday Mondays, please.

Responding to requests from customers, we have added several new lines, including:

  • ground Bolivian coffee in the ‘Grumpy Mule’ range;
